It's nearest competitor can err 15 dots, or more, on its registration. The CX-D80H print engine moves the card in a landscape orientation. This allows for 1000 images to be printed on a single roll of color ribbon. A DNP characteristic security-erase feature protects personal data by scrambling the image left on the film carrier.
